Original printed wraps. About John Jay, important stateman of the Colonial & the Revolutionary era; he became Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and the first President of the Abolition Society. His son William, the author, also became a reputed jurist and abolitionist; in the actual text he defends his father's views and the anti-slavery cause. Very good copy, scarce title.    250 $
